MHS Booster Friendly's
Night/Italian Groceria
MHS Boosters is also a resource for teams and organizations looking to do targeted fundraising
to support needs consistent with the Boosters By-Laws. Boosters provides a process for administrative approval of
proposed fundraisers and will hold and disperse funds from a sub-account for members of this 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.
Please review your targeted fundraising idea's with either the Athletic Director (for teams) or the Principal (for
other groups), and submit a Fundraising Request form at a monthly Meeting in order to work with Boosters in this capacity.
Fill out the form and email it to the co-presidents (current co -presidents addresses are on the forms) or you
may fill it out and drop it in the Boosters Mail box. The request should be submitted by the last Wednesday of the month.
General Board meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month (September - May) in the LMC at 7:00pm.
Upon receipt of a request, the Co-Presidents shall present each request at the monthly general meeting.
A representative from the organization is encouraged to attend to the meeting to clarify any questions pertaining to
the request.
Requests appropriate for support meet the following
criteria:
· Organization is an established
non-profit high school group/team or club.
· Monies raised through the Friendly’s Night will be used to
directly benefit the
organization’s current financial needs in this school year.
· Follows purposes and basic policies adopted by MHS Boosters
and the Friendly’s Corporation Family Fun Nights.
General membership of the Corporation has the right to reject a request
if it is not consistent with the purposes and basic policies or criteria as outlined above and adopted by the Corporation.
After discussion, a vote will be taken.
A simple majority of the General Membership of the Corporation present shall be required to pass recommended action.
